Biography
Dr. Maestas is a graduate from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed her residency in family medicine at Providence Hospital in Seattle. Her focus in medicine is in the areas of, health care for the underserved, behavioral medicine, cross-cultural medicine, domestic violence prevention and intervention and medical student education. She is now head of the Denali College at our medical school and is co-directing the Introduction to Clinical Medicine I course. She is married and loves spending time with her family and friends.
